Tigers won in the last match up, 6-2. Gant took his sixth loss for St. Louis. Schoop went 2/4 with a double, home run and 3 RBI's for Detroit and Manning earned his first victory.
Cardinals, of course, are the heavy favorites here coming in at -220 (Draft Kings) could be a great building block for a parlay, a lot of games with value out there today. Or chase down the F5 -0.5 on BetMGM at -150, which will be my bet personally. Flaherty has had an impressive return from extensive time on the IL, he struck out 8 against the Brewers. He has a 1.50 ERA and 0.58 across the 12 innings covering his last 2 turns with 56 of 92 pitches for strikes in the last outing.
